We all need Hope. Our Lord God tells us how He thinks of us. It is not haphazard, but one of careful thinking.
What a blessing to know this in our hearts. If we are bound to think that our loving Father cares somewhat for us, He is telling us, No, I don’t think that way toward you. He is saying that He has “thoughts of peace,” toward us. How much we need peace in our world today, and may need to be reminded frequently because of the distractions that confront us.
We need hope. His hope is not wishful thinking it is one of certainty and surety. His hope is one of blessings that we can bank on when we put our faith and trust in Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. Our future rests in Him and sometimes we just need to be reminded we can have a future and a hope filled with peace and not evil because the Lord told us so! He loves us that much!
